• These hand stitched traditional espadrilles are worn for the famous sardanes dances, a classic of the Catalan festivities.
• The soles made of braided jute rope are covered with recycled tires which improves grip and impermeability.
• The fabric and the black laces are stitched and assembled by hand by the elders working in their homes, not in a factory.
