This is the Prism version of the "RH-55 Guide Light" that originally came on panheads and ironheads. Overall dimensions are 3.375" x 2.5" x 1" thick, 30% smaller than the original. All light assemblies consist of the following:

A tail light is kinda important so people don't slam into you when you are slowing down! Granted, a tail light doesn't remove the stupidity from the drivers around you, but it lets them know you plan on not going the same speed and may come to a complete stop. Basically, its cool to not die by being rear-ended while on your bike.
